A seamworker's guide to London
2nd May 2016, for Seamwork Magazine

A second contribution to this sewists' publication, I had loads of fun writing "The Seamworker's Guide to London" for Seamwork Magazine
Whether you are new to the city, a bit of an old hand or just visiting, there is a treasure trove of delights tucked away in London's wonky streets!
This article was commissioned and appeared in Issue 18 of the magazine.

A delicate matter
10th Feb 2016, for Seamwork Magazine

A fun start to 2016 with my article on working with delicate and sheer fabrics published in Seamwork Magazine's "The Intimate Issue".

For this piece I covered several areas of the garment-making process where even a beginner can tweak a few things and produce beautiful, feminine finishes despite tricky materials. This article was commissioned and appeared in Issue 15 of the magazine.

Draped dress tutorial
5th Dec 2015, for Love Sewing Magazine

An exciting end to the year was to have my own tutorial for a draped-front dress published in Love Sewing Magazine.
This was the result of my endless experimentation with a copy-drafted dress that I originally made for my sister.

The process of producing something worthy of print was a new one for me and I certainly learned a few things along the way! This article was commissioned and appeared in Issue 21 of the magazine.
